From 'Votes for Women' to 'Time's Up', Reflections on feminism in Britain, past, present and future.

Helen will be talking about the 1918 vote and change's to women's lives in the UK since then. She will be reflecting on feminism in Britain, past, present and future.

She likes to break up her talks, asking questions as she goes along, making for very interactive sessions full of discussion about the past and what still needs to be done.

Helen Pankhurst

Dr. Helen Pankhurst, great-granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst and granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst (leader of the British suffragists movement), is a writer and women's rights activist.


She continues her legacy and her work includes the realization of re-enactment projects, such as the movie Suffragette 2015 and the direction of the # March4Women event, to raise awareness of this theme. She is in Paris to promote her latest book "Deeds not Words: The history of women's rights, yesterday and today".
